Indonesia Visa Immigration

Visa Websites

Official sources of Indonesia visa information
— the pre-evisa website that is still up and running, which unfortunately is more usable than the evisa website, as it contains a list of all the visas that is searchable, named/headered, and correctly indexable by search engines, although there are still bugs:
not all visas are translated
details such as costs may be out of date
— the new evisa website, that unfortunately has numerous bugs:
not all visas are translated
names of the visas are not available... anywhere, not in the menu header, not in their pages, not in their HTML metadata
the menu list of the visas is not scrollable, so visas will be listed beyond the bounds of the screen
Guarantor accounts are recommended to be registered first on the old Visa Online website then registered/linked on the E-Visa website, however the E-Visa website will complain that the email is already in use (despite login and forgot password indicating the email is not in use), requiring one to create a new Guarantor account anyway, in which the Guarantor account will have empty data on the "My Account" page, and be unable to edit/correct their data
When a foreigner applies for a visa, the Passport Issue Date may be reset to the current data (or the visa issue/application date), causing an invalid/rejected application, despite how much you edit the field to correct it
FAQ entries on visa information always seem to be empty
Bug reports on social media:
— the old evisa website, that unfortunately works better, but is only now used for guarantors to create their account, which unfortunately seems to not be working well with the new evisa system
attachments must be below 400KB and in JPEG/JPG format
— is the older version of the website — — that for some reason is still available, however sometimes it is broken and does not work, and it, along with other Immigration websites has been hacked several times:
2022 hack:
2024 hacks:
June Hack
July Hack
There is also information on the various consulate and embassy websites, all of which are implemented themselves, as such have divergent information, and are only attempting to replicate the information from the above source-of-truth websites.
Indonesia use to offer in-person visa services within Indonesia, however these have been shutdown in 2024 in favour of the E-Visa online system and Guarantors/Agents who also use the E-Visa online system. Confirmed via a visit to the Australian Embassy/Consulate in Bali.

Note that as this is not an official source, it may become out of date. Please use the above links to refer to whatever the official and latest information is. Always find and rely upon official government information, and not third party sources/agents. The official TLDs for Indonesia are .go.id
