Writing Day 12

Lest define “Rich”

When people are asked, how much money they want to make?

The usual response is “Very Rich”, although that’s a start, it’s vague and it’s going to get you anywhere. You need a tangible monthly figure in mind that aligns with your desired lifestyle.

My desired life costs: 20k/mon:
Living is Orland or Miami.
Housing: 3k.
Food: 2k.
Eat Outs: 4k.
Party and Wine: 5k.
Car: 3k.
Materilaistic things: 3k.

You should aim to keep the lifestyle under 40%, So I should be making around 50k a month to live this lavish lifestyle.

You should take a moment to write down what your ideal life would cost, when you have a clear understanding of the cost, you can then strategize how to achieve the necessary income. For me it’s 50k/mon which fells attainable and tangible compared to the vague answer “I want to be very rich.”

Why do I want to be rich?

When I was first asked this question, my immediate response was: “It can buy me all the thing’s I want”

But after a period of self reflection and figuring out, I realized that, it wasn't about the money.
I only need enough to be able to wear nice clothes, eat chipotle every day, and to buy things for me and my family without having to look at the price tags.

Besides that, all I want is the time and energy to build and buy business.

Time to travel, to walk, to think, to talk, to read, to drink, to hang out with friends and loved ones to do just about anything, as long as it doesn’t involve day after day grinding for somebody else.

So let me ask you this question: “Why do you want to be rich?”

Thank-you for tuning in to the 12th episode. I hope you found it valuable.
I appreciate you reading, listening, and sharing it with others.
