MHS Essay

I cannot picture an ideal world without the use of numbers, calculations, and math. A world without math is like driving without a steering wheel. I would not be able to get the most out of the day, just like how you would not be able to use the car to its potential.

If I tried imagining how my day would look like without math, here's how it would go.
I don’t wake up at all, because my alarm clock would not be ringing at 6:30AM. And so, my entire day would be a chaos, not only would it effect me, but everyone. This world would be upside-down, within just seconds (I used mathematical terminology there already). To be more specific, there would be no nutrition labels on the back of the food products we eat, no sports to watch because there would be tracking of the score, no new-year countdown celebrations, and almost nothing would exist without math.

I am very passionate about business, and without math none of these fields would exist, because there would be no way to calculate the businesses profits, losses, stocks, investments, and funds.

For, not having the subject math will have an affect on subjects like physics and chemistry, because in order to understand these subjects, we need to first understand and use math.

For a guy like me, I would not want to live without mathematics. It's the foundation for my everyday life, and without it my life would fell inconplete and just boring.

Prompt: "Imagine a world without math. What would that look like to you?”

If I tried to imagine how my day would look like without math, here’s exactly how it would go:
