Spext had its inception in UC Berkeley and backed by top silicon valley VCs and strategic angel investors. Building remotely from India for a global customer base, founders have previously built award winning products and scaled to millions of users.
For a product, innovating and challenging the fundamentals of media editing, great engineering and exceptional infrastructure is everything. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer, who is passionate about high quality engineering.

Required Skills/Experience

2+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering.
Can manage multiple deployments for frontend and backend.
Work on cost optimization of cloud Infrastructure.
Solid understanding of Docker and containers.
Can build CI/CD Pipeline using github actions.
Manage environment and keys.
Good understanding of cloud services - AWS and GCP
Great communication skills and strong sense of how communication plays an important role in a remote work environment.
Bonus - Relevant experience in managing audio/ video backends would be great.

Responsibilities

Work on infrastructure optimization projects.
Establish systems and good engineering practices.
Setup teammates for success.
Resolve conflicts.

Location - Remote
