We are looking for a passionate software engineer with hands-on coding experience ready to accelerate their career and invest in their growth.

What you’ll do

There are two main projects you will be working on during your internship:

You will be part of the team responsible for designing, building, enhancing, maintaining, and supporting our backend REST APIs. You will help build new or enhance existing APIs for our product needs.

You will work on tasks that help us achieve our SOC2 audit requirements. This might include work in our code base or AWS deployment environments. This would be a great opportunity for you to understand the requirements for secure and robust enterprise-level software.

You will also help make our team better by contributing to code reviews, documentation, and the development process.

On any day, you will…

Help build new features for our application, including third-party integrations

Build REST APIs to meet the needs of the frontend designs

Write secure code with an awareness of common security vulnerabilities

Work on the performance, maintainability, and testability of our code

Establish the ability to diagnose technical problems, debug code, and automate routine tasks

You should have

Experience in Java and Spring Boot framework

Strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms

A love of simple, well-tested code that is easy to extend and hard to break

Experience in creating and integrating with RESTful API platforms and SQL-based databases

Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure using AWS is a plus

Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration, and testing automation is a plus

Our stack:

On the front end, we create our view with React. Our backend is Spring boot Java-based Rest API. Our data is persisted in PostgreSQL. We use Bitbucket as our repository and CI pipeline. Our stack is hosted on AWS.
