Intro: Settle, find heartbeat, tap it.

Segue: All of our heartbeats are unique, yet they connect us to the same LIFE moving through every living thing. This is exactly the image we find happening in our nativity scene; the same LIFE beating within Jesus – the Son of God, the Creator of the world – is the same LIFE beating in the hearts of the cows, sheep, and goats.

Reading: Advent 25: Jesus the Christ from All Creation Waits.

10:50 - 11:10 Pt. 1: Final Shadow Forest Elements @ Chapel

We split into three groups from the start to do the work.

Early Learners Molly and Carol

Lower Elementary: Davorka and Anthony

Upper Elementary: Christy

Children are assisted by grown ups to cut + hole punch + string the following. Please make sure string heights are varied.

11:15 - 11:25 Pt. 2: Completing our Shadow Forest @ FH Stage

Grown ups (Christy Molly Anthony) escort children + their creations to the Fellowship Hall, where children sit on the floor below the stage. Meanwhile other grownups (Davorka + Carol) get the hot chocolate ready.

Children are called to the stage to make the final piece “element by element”, in the following order:

Star of Bethlehem

Angels

Stars

Manger

Shepherds

Grownups take photo of children in front of their creation. Children are told they can see it tonight @ dinner.

11:30 - 11:45/50 Pt. 3:Christmas Carols from Around the World @ Chapel

11:30 -40/5 Kids and grownups sit together on the floor. Anthony calls up kids to work with the giant globe and choose a location. Anthony teaches on an element of the song + we make music together.

11:40/5- 50 Hot chocolate served in the chapel.
