Invitation to our Incoming Chair

Dear Molly,

After thoughtful discernment and prayer, and in consultation with the Rev. Dr. Christy Lang Hearlson, I am honored to invite you to serve as the next Chair of the Children and Family Ministry Committee at Overbrook Presbyterian Church!

Assuming you accept this invitation, we would love for you to begin your term on August 1st, 2023, in time for administrative work to begin at the start of the program year. Both Christy and I have the utmost confidence that under your leadership, the CFM committee will continue to evolve and flourish, advancing the mission and goals of our collaborative ministry. As we discussed, your term as chair will naturally conclude on Thursday, July 31st, 2025 unless you feel called to extend your term in consultation with the DCFM.

Your deep creativity, steadfast faith, reliability in ministry and communication, and love of community have made it abundantly clear that you are well suited to undertake this role at the crossroads of Overbrook. Indeed, your enthusiasm, compassion, and care have infused this ministry with a special light. For this, we are deeply thankful and excited.
