Diagonal Pieces

Diagonal pieces allow a user to “shift” the channel in many orientations by entering the units up and over that they wish to travel. A path then calculates the connection of those points.

To facilitate flush alignment with other channels, both ends must be in one of the four 90 degree orientations. Therefore, a straight distance is generated prior to the diagonal.

It is possible to ‘break’ this channel by entering invalid inputs. You may be able to resolve this by modifying the straight distance.

Wider channels must travel further away in order to be valid.
