The main goal of Task & Workload management is being intentional with your time. You want to say yes to the high priority, significant work, and no to everything else.
This tool is a shameless clone of some amazing Asana principles from the My Tasks page to the paid resource management features. It gives you an easy way to manage your tasks and see your workload in future weeks.
Note: if you see an open button, like , use it instead of the standard open row button (it sets essential control values in the backend) Setup
delete all existing data to get started ( ) ESSENTIAL: go to the page and add yourself and anyone else from your team set their Coda Person, hours per week, hours per day, and teams (if you want) ESSENTIAL: click the button to add rows to the capacity table go to the page and add some tasks tasks enter at the Recently Assigned stage and must be manually moved from here tasks are manually moved between sections each day by automation (except for Recently Assigned - they stay put) tasks can be made recurring on a weekly basis - you’ll find the option in the task under the Timing section the timer is pretty cool - use it! Actual duration will show the estimated duration until a task id marked Done. Then it will inherit either the Timer Duration or a duration entered into the Manual Override. go to the page and add projects the ideal time per week is used in Workload to see if weekly tasks tagged to that project exceed the ideal time Go to the page and click on the to see your workload for that week hover over a day chip to add a task to that day: use the buttons to move a task to the previous or next day if people move task due dates too many times, they’ll get a notification - it’s to help with bad task management behaviours.
