Chat tools are hard to build - that’s the message here. This one took way longer than expected...
This chat tool just might become the backbone for your internal chat, a Slack or Discourse replacement that you can connect at will to your projects, policies, wiki - anything really!
BONUS FEATURE: query your topics with AI!
Chat includes lots of (maybe helpful?) ways to structure your comments, including Categories → Topics → Threads (parent comments) → and finally comments
Note: if you see an open button, like

Setup
delete all existing data to get started (
Settings

go to the
ST People

page and add yourself and anyone else from your team
click the Edit Profile button to setup your Nickname and notifications
go to
Categories
⁠
and add some high level discussion categories (eg, projects, support, show and tell)
within these categories, people can add specific
Topics
⁠
for discussion (eg, how do I turn the coffee maker off?)
people can comment on topics, and from there can
reply to a comment, which creates a thread
like a comment
edit their comments
