The main purpose of SmartAge’s key visual system is to provide texture and visual interest in a layout that follows the brands established visual language. This asset is intended to be used as background elements or accents in a layout.

Construction

A file containing the grain image in varying resolutions have been included in the turnover. To use the asset simply drag and drop the image over a composition and set it as background. You may crop the image and/or adjust the opacity to achieve a more subtle effect.

Misuse


Make sure the placement of the texture provides enough contrast for any element placed on top of it.

When you scale the texture, make sure the individual ‘grains’ are not too visible. Use an image with a higher resolution instead.
