Set up Checkout Funnel tracking using Shopify's native integration + Analyzify's open-source code block.

Many people will spend their dollars on your store, and you'll want to know and analyze what they did during checkout. Universal Analytics offers a Checkout funnel, but it's not exactly suited for Shopify merchants. Head to our guide for an open-source code block prepared by our expert team that can quickly fix that problem.

Add payment providers (shop.app, , etc.) to referral exclusions.

Failing to exclude payment providers will only result in wrongly attributed sales. Head to Google Analytics > Acquisition > All Traffic > Referrals and see where your traffic comes from. If you see a problem, a simple referral exclusion can fix it for you.

Set up goals and conversions since new configurations are not retrospective in Google Analytics.

Your tracking might work, but making sense of it will only get more difficult without setting proper goals.

Set up Google Analytics 4 e-commerce tracking using our open-source solutions or app.

Analyzify customers already get top-notch service, but we also like to contribute to the Shopify community. With the new addition of Shopify Pixels, we've updated our materials, including videos! Take a look at our open-source code block for the most straightforward GA4 implementation for merchants.

Activate Google Signals on GA4

At this point, we've established that we like as much data as possible. And Google Signals does precisely that. It'll track traffic data in addition to your standard Google Analytics integration when enabled. Neat.

Make sure not to have redundant, hard-coded pixels.
