There are two different acquisition reports that you should look at on a daily or weekly basis:
Traffic Acquisition
User Acquisition
Let’s start with the first one.
👉 Traffic Acquisition report focuses on the most recent traffic source that a visitor to your website came from before arriving there.
👀 Find it in Reports > Acquisition > Traffic Acquisition.
🔎 You can view where your users came from, including how they found you through different channels. It shows you which channels generate the most traffic and conversions.
Overall, this report can help you figure out where your visitors are coming from. It provides answers to questions like:
Which channel gives me the most traffic?
From which channel do I make more money?
How many people visit my website and how long do they stay?
Which channels convert well?
On the other hand,
👉 User Acquisition focuses on the initial source of traffic that brought a user to your website.
👀 Find it in Reports > Acquisition > User Acquisition.
