Define and establish the company wide compensation philosophy.
Serve as the main point of contact for 66 retail stores, 4 fulfillment centers, 1 global location, and HQ in regards to total rewards across the business.
Manage the entirety of the compensation functions including executive compensation, equity, short term incentive, base pay, merit, and job architecture.
Own all benchmarking of roles within the organization including owning job descriptions, pricing the roles, and ensuring pay equity.
Drive annual compensation programs (i.e. merit, STI, LTI, etc) to ensure accuracy, fairness, and competitiveness. This includes forecasting models, making recommendations to the executive team, and executing documentation, communication plan, and implementation of approved models each year.
Implement and maintain compensation structures for internal pay ranges including annual reviews, new structure implementation, and structure application.
Own Compensation Management and Job Description Management software.
Partner with global partners to establish and manage HR presence and practices in China.
Serve as a business partner across all departments within the business in relation to total rewards. Partner to establish total rewards offerings for each area of the business and by each level.
Consult with senior leadership on department restructures, new positions, promotions, demotions, severance, and all other employee relations items that may have job architecture or compensation impacts.
Partner with HRIS analyst to ensure that the HCM system is up to date with all data structures. This includes employee data, position data, and structure information. Partner to build reporting dashboards to automate reporting for all areas of the business.
Assist with preparation of materials associated with the Compensation Committee Board Meetings quarterly. This includes forecasting data related to topics, finalizing recommendations, and implementing approved items from the meetings.

Oversee day to day requests for job pricing and role creation.
Facilitate Compensation 101 training to manager and department leaders across the organization.
Implement and Manage PayFactors/PayScale compensation software. Includes training the compensation team and document the procedures for the system.
Manage compensation function within HRIS (Workday) system to ensure accurate record keeping, compensation planning, and annual compensation processes.
Develop and document a compensation philosophy for the organization to encompass the company’s core values and represent the organization’s goals when it comes to Total Rewards.
Consult with departments on everything compensation. This includes pay recommendation for merit, bonuses, incentive plans for sales teams, and variable pay at the executive level.

Conduct quarterly analysis of cost of labor by departments. Partnering with the CFO and operational department heads to adjust fees for branches based on cost of labor.
Lead annual workforce planning process and partner with CFO to conduct merit budgeting and department payroll budgeting.
Design tools for managers and business partners to use for compensation and pay conversations, calculating compa-ratios, and placing employee’s total compensation in range.
Maintain location geo-differentials as new locations open and review monthly for all current branch and remote locations for cost of living and cost of labor.
Provide forecast reports for manager and executive leadership to assist with workforce planning, team restructures, labor costs, and other data analytics
