This page discusses where to find information and course content in CougarView. Some of this information you may already know however we have a wide variety of student levels and this may be the first fully online course taken by some.

Course Content

Assessments

Under the “Assessments” tab, you will find links to assignments, awards (badges), grades, quizzes, rubrics, and self assessments. These tabs are self-explainitory but I would like to point out that they can be useful in a couple of ways.

If you are unsure about an assignment location or where a dropbox is located, you can simply click on “Assignments” and it will list all assignments. The same is ture for quizzes and tests. Click on “Quizzes” for these graded activities.

All of the badges available can be found under “Awards”.

Criteria and requirements for assignments and discussions can be found in “Rubrics”.

Communications

Under the “Communications” tab, you can find information about announcements, discussion forums, module checklists, check email, and other useful tools that can be seen in the image below.

Clicking on the “Discussions” link will take you to a link of all discussion forums in the course.

Resources

The “Resources” dropdown menu provides quick access to content and links such as GALILEO, CougarView support, and more helpful resources.
