Exploring what-ifs

Begin the new year strong by reflecting on the past year and finding closure on what could've been.
On the flip side of new year resolutions, I have a tradition of reflecting on the past year and journaling my highlights and lowlights along with overall experiences. 2020 was a year many of us pressed pause and where March became the longest month ever. Add that to some trying times, I found myself thinking “In a parallel universe, I would’ve...” and I wanted to explore these what-ifs that have left me curious of a year that could’ve been.
Copy this doc and use it to dig into those hang-ups you may have about this past year. From cancelled travel plans to pandemic-related lay-offs to not being able to celebrate milestones with loved ones, think of 3-4 events that did not occur as expected that you would like to explore. Check out some examples below and delete them once you entered your own scenarios. In writing it out, we can better address our feelings and move forward.
