About the Professor

Hi! My name is Alexandra Stinson-Swartout and I will be your instructor for this course. I am a 5th year PhD candidate in Political Science with Public Policy as my major field. My research mostly revolves around public and private school choice in the United States context and education politics more broadly. I got my undergraduate degree in 2020 at The University of Tampa and my Masters degree at Michigan State in 2020. I got married last year and have one furry child, a cat named Chummy. In my free time, I love to travel, volunteer at the Meridian Historical Village, and play video/board/card games.
