Prep for 1:1 chats! (read this)

You’re solving the world’s most important problems. The faster you ship civilization-important technology, the fewer people die, and the higher our chances to save the planet. Speed matters. But it doesn’t matter how fast you move if it’s in a worthless direction. Choosing the right thing to work on is the most important element of going fast.

What you need to do:
Fill out your 5050 Milestones doc
After the kickoff, edit your answers based on feedback or ideas or new perspectives you gained.
During 1:1 check-ins, we’ll offer feedback, perhaps heighten your ambition and, together, land on the highest leverage goals to sprint on during Explore. These milestones will help you set a strong, fast and intentional pace of execution for every week in the cohort.

Questions you’ll answer in your individual 5050 Milestones Doc
What is your intention for 5050? What’s something you’d be extremely happy to have accomplished by the end of the cohort? It should feel exciting, ambitious, and a bit scary.
What are the key milestones you need to hit to a) gain conviction this is the right idea to pursue as a startup, b) go full-time into the startup, c) fundraise a first-round, d) make a first sale? [add a time component for these]
Goals will vary depending on when you are on your journey. Don't worry if you're not sure if these are the correct milestones to aim at; that's what office hours are for! We'll use these as a starting point to help you best direct your time and energy during the cohort.
Write down your reasoning or any details that would be useful for us to understand why you’re focusing on these milestones.
What are your biggest concerns, unknowns, or risks that might prevent you from achieving these milestones? This will help us strategize with you to tackle these unknowns head first.
If you were considering other milestone(s), share these here:

Rooting for you!
