Initial Setup

For each ecosystem:

Join forum/Discord/community

Identify top 10 repeated pain points

Pick the simplest one to solve

Build minimum viable solution

List on marketplace

Track for each product:

Revenue per month

Time to build

Maintenance hours per month

Downloads/installs

Growth trajectory

Fitness function: $/hour = Monthly Revenue / (Build Hours + Monthly Maintenance Hours)

The Rules

Ship over perfect - Done and live beats perfect and delayed

Market decides - Revenue is the only signal that matters

No predictions - Don't guess winners, discover them

Kill the weak - Bottom performers get abandoned (left listed but no attention)

Feed the strong - Top performers get more features, more products in their ecosystem

Respond, don't plan - Allocate based on measured results, not theory

System > individual - Any single product can fail, the system cannot

Cross-pollinate - Success in one ecosystem means build more there

Measure honestly - The tree map reflects reality, not hope

Trust the process - Exploration reveals the gold, prediction doesn't
