Hello, thanks for reaching out!

This reply is to let you know that I have seen your message, and, although I am unable to provide an exact response to it at this time, I am working to address it in detail as soon as possible. In the meantime, providing any details and/or photos available to demonstrate your device(s)’ symptoms, as well as a quick review of the questions below and a bit of easy DIY testing, can go a long way toward streamlining the diagnostic process.
-
1. Does the device power on and boot normally? If not, what happens when you try to turn it on? Pay attention to any screen flashes (top or bottom), LED indicators, bootup error codes, and/or speaker static output.
-
2. If the device fails to read games, are any of the connector pins within the affected port(s) bent or missing? If not, does cleaning the pins by carefully yet rapidly inserting and removing a game cartridge or small fold of fine-grit sandpaper (dabbed with a touch of rubbing alcohol if necessary, allowing for full evaporation before power-on) solve the issue?
-
3. If you’re having issues with touch sensitivity or accuracy, are you able to fully complete the digitizer calibration process within the system settings, and if so, does this fix the issue? If the digitizer fails to register touch at all, does carefully removing the colored plastic bezel (NOT the transparent layer beneath it) and cleaning out any lodged debris solve the problem?
-
4. Is the data stored on your device(s) such as photos, notes, and/or digital game copies accessible, and is it important to you that it is retained and/or recovered if possible? If so, creating a backup of important files prior to sending the device in for repair will be prudent where possible.

Thank you for taking the time to investigate these details as I work toward the opportunity to discuss this further. Your patience is sincerely appreciated, and I look forward to speaking with you soon!
