Support represents your ability to leverage indirect actions, such as auxiliary military support, or perform non-combat actions without devoting a Division to the task.
Agendas which would produce other resources, such as Investigation (Mission Pack: Beyond the Veil), Unforgiven (Codex: Dark Angels), or Virulence (Codex: Death Guard), produce Support instead. Likewise, Support can be spent on any abilities which require any of the above resources.
Construct Fortress
Use this ability during the Assign Divisions phase. You may build any number of Fortification buildings on a hex with a Garrison by spending 1 Support per 5 Power Level of the fortification. If you do so, any player who acts as Defender on that hex may bring any or all of the units on the hex as part of a Fortification Network. This detachment ignores Power Level limits of the mission, and costs 1 CP as normal.
You may construct Unaligned buildings, or buildings of any faction on your Order of Battle, excluding MERCENARY units. If you do the latter, these buildings are destroyed when a player that lacks that faction keyword takes control of the hex.
Fortifications which are destroyed are removed permanently, and must be added again using this ability. You may also remove any fortification at any time, as long as you control this hex.
False Flag
You may use this ability in the Trickery phase. Choose two units in any Division and swap their positions and assignments. This ability may be used only once per Strategic Phase, and costs 2 support, plus an amount of Support equal to the difference in Power ratings of the two units (for example, swapping an Imperial Guard Infantry squad [3 PL] and a Leman Russ Battle-Tank [11 PL] costs 10 Support).
Firestorm
Choose a mission which was generated in the current Strategic Phase. If you have a Garrison which contains a model with a single-use weapon (such as a bomber or one-use artillery), you may pay 1 Support per 3 Power of that unit (rounded up). If you do, it cannot be added to any army you muster during the next Tactical phase, but you gain the Firestorm stratagem (below) during battles on that map scale.
You may choose a Battlefleet containing a unit with the FLYER role and such an ability instead; if you do so, it may target any hex, and you may grant the use of the Firestorm stratagem to any character in that mission.
Firestorm | 0 CP
Use this stratagem at the start of your shooting phase. Select a model which was assigned via the Firestorm support action. You may use its single-use ability, targeting a single unit your Warlord can see. You may not target units if the “Look Out, Sir!” rule, or a similar ability, would prevent your warlord from targeting them.
Once a model has been chosen with this stratagem, it cannot be chosen again this Tactical Phase.
