Employment contract (showing remote work arrangement) Letter from employer stating: Permission to work from Spain Your role and responsibilities Confirmation company has operated 1+ years Company registration certificate (apostilled) Last 3 months of bank statements showing salary deposits Last 3 months of payslips For Freelancers/Self-Employed: Business registration documents (apostilled) Client contracts or letters of engagement Last 3-6 months of invoices Last 3 months of bank statements Tax returns (if available) - this is not a requirement if applying from Spain, but required if via Consulate Portfolio or proof of ongoing work (CV) - Translate it in Spanish. Option A - Home Country Social Security: Certificate proving you'll continue paying social security in home country US: Certificate of Coverage from SSA UK: CA3822 (employees) or CA3837 (self-employed) Option B - Spanish Social Security: Declaration of intent to register with Spanish system Educational/Experience Proof

Cover Letter - Motivational letter explaining: Why you want to move to Spain How you'll support yourself Relate to the requirements that you qualified. Modelo 790 Form - Codigo 038 - The application payment you need pay in a Spanish Bank. I paid mine on Banko Santander. Prepare to pay in cash. Family Members (if applicable)
Marriage certificate (apostilled + sworn translated) Birth certificates for children (apostilled + sworn translated) Proof of financial dependency (for adult children) De facto couple registration (if not legally married)
Requirements Gathering
Here’s how I organised my requirements in folders. I created a folder named “Spain DNV Documents” and created subfolders with the numbered requirements. Feel free to follow my structure. You have to place it this way so it will be easy for you to re-upload it here.
