How to Obtain an Apostille
Obtain the original document from the issuing authority
Find your country's competent apostille authority at the
Hague Conference website
or in the PH head to DFA’s website.
Submit the document to the apostille authority
Pay the required fee (varies by country)

10-12 weeks (expedited service available)
UK:
5 working days
Canada:
2-4 weeks
Australia:
5-10 business days

1-3 weeks
Translation Requirements
Documents requiring certified Spanish translation:
All apostilled documents
Criminal background checks

Employment contracts (if not in English or Spanish)
Birth and marriage certificates
How to Find Certified Translators:
Your Spanish consulate provides a list of approved translators
Look for "traductor jurado" or "sworn translator"
