Fraction is a way to tell a part of a whole →a/1

2 parts:

Numerator: number above the line. This is the number A

Denominator: number below the line. This is the number B

Addition:

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE SAME DENOMINATOR TO BE ABLE TO DO ADDITION then add the 2 numerator together.

They can also be added up to a improper fraction:

Subtraction:

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE SAME DENOMINATOR TO BE ABLE TO DO SUBTRACTION then subtract the 2 numerator → left to right

Multiplication:

Numerator * Numerator

Denominator * Denominator

Division:

Flip the second fraction → a/b to b/a

Then

Numerator * Numerator

Denominator * Denominator
