Circles

Definition Of Circle
A 2 dimension shape that have a fixed point called center which makes any line drawn from that center into the circumfrence equal
Parts that make a circle
Center
The middle point of the circle
Radius
The length that is drawn from the center to the circumfrence
Diameter
Two radius or is a line that seperate the circle in half
Arc
Part of a circle
CIRCUMFRENCE
Formula: π*2r
pi * 2 radius
Example:
A circle with the radius of 2 cm
Its circumfrence would be:

12.566370614359172 cm

AREA
Formula: π*r²
pi*radius squared
Example
A circle with the radius of 2cm
Its area would be:

12.566370614359172 cm²

HOW TO CALCULATE AN ARC OF A CIRCLE:
Example:
image.png

Formula:
r * ϴ/360
ϴ is the symbol for angle.
Example:
ϴ = 180 degrees
r = 5 cm
= 2πr * 180/360
= r * 1/2
= 2*5π
= 10π * 1/2
= 15.7079632679 cm
