Long weekend
Long weekend green finally arrived around 5-6PM, but was making dinner so missed it. Quick scalp for because don’t trust EDIT: do I not trust the market or do I not trust myself ahahahahaha

AVAX scalp
5-min candle struggle
We’ve had patterns of a big green candle (that clearly looks manufactured) and then we sink from there, so this was inspired by that.
But weirdest idea of risk management was ah yeah AVAX, it moves more, let me just dramatically undersize to $250 - __ -
Did work tho, and closed this, the small test trade, before the liquidation wick - _ -

ETH short
Follow-on of AVAX
LMFAO. It was doing fine for a while there then market pumped, Fs. Only did it with $2.5K in size because was feeling it out. Entered $1090-ish, closed at $1114 for a loss of $50-ish.
Few interesting mistakes? Price fell closer to entry price in few minutes, and that should have been obvious because it was a liquidation wick on a low-liquidity day.
And just in general, my plan was to long long weekend. Why didn’t I? (well honestly past precedent not indication of future results etc etc)

Cracked open the RSI indicator, just scalped around, and took the guts to position for an ETH short based off of 4H timeframe.
Also, two ways to play long weekend: long the way up, short the way down. I missed the long, I can catch the short
(Didn’t have one, but I should if going with a technical indicator)

Good choice to compound, but closed too early. Intended to close when 1m RSI tapped bottom again, but I didn’t. Not my biggest position, but not really an excuse for next time for handling it a little better

Picked it to compound because it was one of top gainers of the day, but didn’t closely look at price action. Actually holding pretty strong, so took minimal profits
