Last month, a number of you wrote in and told us to make the puzzles harder. We saw many more attempts than last time, and 1/10th of the submissions. Looking at the numbers, Puzzle #3 makes Puzzles

look cute. (Don’t worry, the next puzzle will be breezier.)

And winner selection should color the bar and the voting table.
