About the data entry role.

As a Data Entry Specialist, you are responsible for inputting data correctly into the system. This data will be coming from physical documents, web pages, and other assorted sources. The Data Entry Specialist also takes care of assorted administrative work around the office. This may include mailing bills, contracts, invoices, or checks, or compiling and sorting business transactions and records. The majority of your day will be spent on the computer, so the Data Entry Specialist should be comfortable using Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Inputting data correctly and quickly into the system. Some of this may include copying and pasting data from web pages as well as manually inputting data from images and physical documents.
Participating in a variety of administrative duties, including collating, filing, ordering office supplies, and mailing assorted business documents.
Utilizing a variety of computer programs, specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel

Key skills data entry candidates should have.

Data entry experience, including the ability to type quickly and accurately
. We’re looking for someone who can move quickly through the documents. This role has daily and weekly goals, so accuracy is imperative.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products
. Most of the day will be spent in Word, Outlook, and Excel. The Data Entry Operator should know the basics of each program. Advanced knowledge is a plus.
A professional mindset and aptitude.
We expect the Data Entry team to be punctual and professional. This includes great communication skills as the Data Entry Specialist will need to collaborate with other teammates and be able to resolve challenges.
