Zones

Zone - Overview

Introduction

In a physical event, an attendee visits the event venue, gets to know the schedule, interacts with fellow attendees, visits booths or expos, and builds connections as they go. Zuddl provides six different events zones to enable attendees to mimic the same experience in a virtual event. This article provides an overview of all the other zones in Zuddl. Here are the different zones Zuddl provides
Schedule
Lobby
Stage
Rooms
Networking
Expo

Lobby

Lobby is where attendees arrive after registration or logging into a live event, just like entering a lobby or the reception area of a hotel before proceeding to your room. Zuddl provides realistic templates for the lobby area with customizations options such as editable backgrounds, introductory videos, widgets, hot spots, and many others to make your virtual event engaging and immersive.

Schedule

The Schedule is one of the zones where attendees can find detailed information about the sessions, such as dates, timings, stages, and speakers. If your event is a multi-day event, attendees also view the days-wise schedule. Attendees can apply filters on the session days, stages, and event tags to search for a session.

Stage

The Stage is where the sessions, talks, and presentations take place. The stage comes with an exclusive backstage for speakers and organizers where they can orchestrate the different segments of a session, test audio and video quality, test presentation decks, and other elements. You can also enable options such as chat, polls, Q&A, and many others to boost audience engagement in the event.

Rooms

In the Rooms zone, attendees can enter pre-defined rooms as configured on your Zuddl dashboard. You can utilize Rooms to facilitate peer-to-peer discussions, group activities, and for many other purposes. The Rooms feature represents a table in any physical event where attendees interact with each other. You can allow a maximum of 10 attendees in each room in pairs of 2,4,6,8, or 10. You can also change the room capacity (up to 100 attendees).

Networking

For attendees, one of the key takeaways in any physical event is the connections they make during an event. In an event, attendees interact with speakers and fellow attendees, get introduced to sponsors, and take many other actions to create a strong network of like-minded people. Zuddl lets your attendees efficiently build their network by way of the Networking feature.
