Enable Chat

On a stage, Chat allows attendees to communicate with each other and also with the speakers and organizers. To enable chat:

Go to Stage Setup > Functionality.

Turn on the toggle inside the Chat card. Default is on.

Select the Moderate Chat option to publish chat messages only after approval.

Moderated Chat

When Moderate Chat is enabled, every chat message reaches the organizer first. The organizer receives the chat message with an option to Approve or Reject.

Approved chat messages are visible to everyone. Rejected messages are removed from the chat window.

Note: Till the organizer takes action, attendees are shown a message, “Your messages will not be visible until the Organizer approves them”.
