Setting up Custom Collection Pages

Use case: Brand-specific collection layouts, email landing pages to specific collection, aesthetic differences

Create new collection template

Note: changes to template affect all content associated with that page.
Online Store > Customize Theme Settings
Click on “Home Page” at the top of nav
Click on “Collections” > Select “Create Template”
Give it a relevant name and select based on: default collection

Add relevant blocks that match the collection you want to create:
Click Add section under “Template” to see your options

Keep “Main Collection”
To make the name dynamic, Click into “Main Collection” and click on the hamburger menu
Select “Title”
This will make sure each collection has the name assigned to it on the backend.

Once all changes have been made, press “Save”
Go onto “Assign template to page”

Assign template to page

After creating collection, toggle back to your admin section
Products > Collection
Click into the collection or collections you want to assign the new template to
under Theme template, select the collection you just created
Save
