Index (Coda Starter Exercise 1 - Inventory Manager)

"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step "
This doc was made as an answer to the first starter exercise in the . It’s not the biggest doc by any means but represents a crucial first step in my own journey to become a competent user of Coda.
But enough about me, let’s talk about the doc! It’s broken out into two parts:
1. Index - the actual inventory manager
Where the actual “inventory managing” happens. In this page you’ll find:
a quick overview of the different books along with their rental status as a kanban board
a full table containing more information (date rented, status, title, etc.)
a gantt chart to show the periods books are rented out for
Author’s Commentary
In case the first exercise has changed or you haven’t read it yet, the first exercise is for an inventory manager. Essentially you’re asked to adopt the persona of someone managing a rental store. Oddly enough the first thing I thought of for rental store was “library” so I opted to create a tool to manage a personal library (~10 books).
2. RecBot - a tool to help someone choose a book
In this page, patrons can go through a simple two question flow to hear a book recommendation.
Author’s Commentary
Despite the outcome being simple, this was really hard to make!
