Sexting with fans is core to the role of an OnlyFans chatter and must be positioned such that you are the model and are chatting to subscribers directly. Most often selling content that is prepared ‘live’. This module will provide you with the basics of how to sext with a sub and how to understand the psychology of a subscriber.
KYC… Know Your Customer!
The majority of fans that sub to your creators page will not buy immediately. Its vital that you warm them up appropriately and get to know them.
Every subscriber has a LTV (lifetime value), and it is your goal to increase the overall LTV of your subs.
To increase the LTV of a sub you need make sure the sub comes back time and time again. To do this you need to make sure you get to know your customer by asking questions about their life, job, hobbies, etc. and build a relationship with them.
Imagine you try to make the sub pay within the first few seconds of them subscribing and you get lucky, they buy your PPV, but after no pre-discussion. The next time they are online and you want to sell more PPV you will find it very hard to do so, because you have not managed to learn anything about the sub.
Instead, if you were to invest some time ahead of selling PPV to find out a bit about the sub you would then be able to warm them up a second time and ask about his job, life, hobbies to re-engage the conversation.
The first time the fan subscribes and is online is most likely due to them being horny. The second time they come online, they may not be feeling the same level of horniness. Meaning, you no longer have the upper hand and the same strategy will not apply. So making that initial investment to get to know them will help in the long run with increasing the relationship.
When will a sub spend money?
When the sub is horny or in love…!
You need to play on these two emotions to be able to service the sub appropriately.
Get them incredibly horny and make them feel madly in love with you so you can get into their heads and into their wallets!
Understanding the basic psychology of the buyer
To understand the psychology of the buyer you need to realise that the buyer, i.e. the sub, can be subscribed to 10+ creators at a time and will be chatting to all those creators at the same time.
On a simple level, this means that you need to differentiate yourself from the other girls he’s subscribed to. Every other girl has nice tits and ass.
For the sub to wake up the next day and to want to speak to you and not any of the other creators is no easy feat and it certainly is not a straight forward task.
You need to embed yourself in their life and become what they are lacking in the real world… become their girlfriend.
Task yourself with understanding everything about them, imagine setting yourself the goal of being able to recite their inside leg measurements, become that obsessed with getting to know them and they will fall in love with you!
Once they feel comfortable with you they will open up and will become emotionally engaged which will make the selling significantly easier as they will be horny just by thinking about you.
If we know that a sub spends money when they are horny or in love, then nail both and you will see their wallets open up!
How to engage with fans and get them in the mood!
Some basic structure here will help you to understand how to approach each sub appropriately.
Get to know them
Understand the basics about them, their life and personality. Try not to jump in on minute one or even day one with a sale. Get comfortable with them and gather information.
Questions like: where are you from, what do you do, what are your hobbies, etc.
Build an emotional connection
Make them feel comfortable with you by sharing more intimate details. Find out why they are on the platform, what made them subscribe, let them open up if possible.
Questions like: what brought you to my page, what type of woman do you like, do you have a partner or why don’t you have a partner, etc. Allow them to open up to you.
Let the sub raise the topic of sex
You want to try not to be the one to first instigate sexting if possible. You for sure can tease but ideally you want to wait for them to mention that they are feeling horny so they can be the ones to engage in sexting. This will put you in a position of power when you start selling content. If you can make the sub beg for the content then you have won the game!
If they are the ones to send a dick pic or a picture of their bed, its down to you to maximise the potential outcome, this is your biggest buying signal where you need to go in for the metaphorical kill!!!
When the sub sends photos, keep them engaged by requesting more photos, they will feel wanted and much more part of the interaction. By doing this you are removing the transactional feel of the relationship and turning it from purchase, purchase, purchase to exchange, exchange, exchange.
Sell in stages
When it comes to selling, do it in stages. Warm the sub up by teasing them, slowly reveal more nudity, build the arousal of the sub to the point where they are begging for it. Make them be the ones to ask for more content. You will then have the power to decide the price with minimal objection from the sub.
To create an even deeper level of authenticity, make sure to tell the sub you are recording the content live. Tell them sub “ok, wait 1 sec so I can record this for you x”
Drive the conversation
Except for when the sub wants to dominate the conversation you should always be the one in control. Making sure you lead the conversation will make sure you get the desired outcome. If you are working with content in the vault you will not have the option to deviate from the set at hand. This means you need to make sure to put the sub back in line if they start trying to ask you to do or say something specific.
If the sub is only lightly trying to request certain content mid-script or mid-selling, try to ignore by overpowering the request with a new piece of content. You can say something like “oh yeah, baby, id love that but I love this even more!!”.
The alternative to this is to be more forceful, a useful turn of phrase used in the industry to calm a subscriber who is trying to make more direct demands can be something like:
Slow down there big boy I’ve had fun with you so far but we’ve barely gotten to know each other… what makes you think you can come here and start making your rules/talking like that?
You will also see some topics on how to be the driver in a conversation in the Sales section of the SOPs (”driver passenger relationship”).
The follow through
Looping back to the earlier stages where we discussed becoming the girlfriend and building a connection, this philosophy must be maintained even once you have completed a script.
Most subs will want to end the conversation and drop the chat as soon as they have climaxed and cum. If they decide this to be the end of the conversation then so be it.
You must make sure that it is not you just ending the conversation post-nut. Do not make them feel used, do not make them feel like a money bag.
Keep talking to the sub and make them feel just as special now as you did before sexting. This is your golden opportunity to make them feel an even deeper connection to you as you can take this time to explain to them how great that was, how you never normally feel such an emotional connection with a sub after sexting like that and how you cannot wait to do it again!
If you want to be a top-tier chatter, this is in fact your opportunity to set up your next sexting session with the sub.
By explaining just how much you cannot wait to do this again, you can tease him in by mentioning that you have a new outfit that you have bought online and its arriving tomorrow. And that you cannot wait to show him how good it looks. Use this to try to set up a next meet either the following day or later in the week.
Embody the Creator Archetype
Remember, you are chatting on behalf of a creator, most likely a woman, so behave like on. You need to BECOME the creator!!!!!
Act like a WOMAN
Be the woman that the sub has never had. Be the woman the sub has always wanted.
In most cases the sub is on OnlyFans because they cannot find a woman in real life.
Half the work is already done if you can just act like a woman when chatting.
Chat like a WOMAN
To chat like a woman you need to adapt your typing to that of a woman.
Woman elongateee their words a lot and loveeeee to use lots of emojis 💋 💕 😘😘
Always be fun and cheerful and dont bring down the conversation, always try to lift the conversation up in a positive manner.
Flirt like a WOMAN
Be fun, flirty and sexy when you chat. Don’t be rude or return their rudeness.
Many chatters forget the fundamental creator/sub relationship… The sub is talking to a young, gorgeous and independent woman. So you dont need to take any rudeness from a sub. He should feel privileged to EVEN be able to speak to such a woman!!!!
Sell like a WOMAN
Being a woman on this platform means you can get away with things you probably wouldn't be able to if you were a man. Be cheeky, be authentic, be lifelike when you are selling. Squeeze what you can out of the prices and if you get an objection or a rejection then you can always move down and negotiate, this isnt the goal of course but remember, they are here for you so you need to maintain the control!
Do’s and Don’ts of chatting like a WOMAN
While we never meet the subs or even discuss meeting them (forbidden on OF and can lead to an account ban), you can still sell them the dream. Sell them the dream of an online girlfriend relationship. Sell them the emotion and not the content.
Don’t just talk about sex, talk about their hobbies, talk about their life, talk about their ambition and what they want out of life. The sub isnt ALWAYS horny, they want more than just content. Remember, the main reason they are online and engaging with the creator is because they cannot find this engagement in real life, so be there for their wants and needs, just ONLINE!!!
Never don’t sell, never don’t miss a buying signal, but remember there is more to this game than just selling, especially if we want to increase our overall Lifetime Value
Harness the power of the SALES LADDER
The sales ladder is the foundation of the chatters sales strategy. While quite basic to understand it must be adhered to as it has consequences over time.
Simply put, as content is shared with the sub, specifically in the format of a set, the price increases after each piece of content is sold. SX+1 is the first piece of content in set X (X can be any set), and the set can go beyond 7 pieces of content or can be shorter, the above is simply an indicative representation.
The price increase for the following reasons
The content gets more risky as each piece of content is sold. This means that the content at the beginning of the script is teasing type content with no nudity, versus the last piece of content should be where the creator is fully nude and at climax. The content tends to increase in duration as the content moves through the set. The first piece might be a photo or a 10 second teaser video and the final piece of content will likely be a 3-4 or 5 minute video with the most explicit content of the set. And finally, the most important and obvious reason: the arousal of the subscriber is getting higher and higher as they consume each piece of content Pricing the sales ladder should not be seen as set in stone. This can be said for most content sold, including custom content. We provide a guide price here but actually the content should be controlled by the chatter. The chatter should be sufficiently confident in their ability to recognise the size of the subscribers wallet (you do this by assessing the past prices of PPVs sold, the type of job they have, how old they are, etc.) and to price according to the size of their wallet.
You should be pricing the sales ladder very different for a student travelling on their gap year versus an investment banker who regularly spends with the creator. KNOW YOUR CLIENT and you will be able to maximise your profits accordingly.
As a chatter you need to DESERVE the sale each time. Its not a given that the sub will buy the next piece of content you send them. Make sure to build rapport and excite the sub between each piece of content sold. Make sure you deserve the sale and dont just expect the sale. Many subs will not reach the end of a set and might cum early when you are still only half way through the set. This is fine and will happen, dont make the sub feel bad, make them feel special and tell them that you cannot wait to cum with them next time. Set yourself up for the next sexting session!
Note: the first piece of the set does not need to be free, and again, should be judged by the chatter to know whether or not they can charge for SX+1.
Custom Content Requests
What is a custom content request
Custom content is the holy grail of content, this is the goal of the chatter: to be able to convert your subs from buying PPV to buying custom content.
A custom content request is when a sub wants the creator to do something specific for them in a video or picture (most often a video).
Why do we care so much about custom content?
An easy way to quickly assess the performance of a chatting teams ability to engage with subs on a relationship basis is to understand not only the classic sub-to-message ratio but also the tip-to-message ratio. If the majority of the chatters income is derived from message income alone, the chatters are not developing subscriber relationships enough to have custom content requested.
The ideal ratio of tip-to-message ratio would be 1:5 or even 1:2, meaning your tip income represents anywhere from 10-50% of your overall tip and message income.
Note: subs pay tips for custom content (if they cannot afford to pay for the entire custom upfront then they can tip half and pay PPV for the rest later but that is not too common).
The PPV ceiling
As a chatter, at the beginning of a subs relationship you will sell sets and content through PPV. After a while this will become saturated and the sub will want something more than “live recordings” of the creator in different outfits.
The lifecycle of the sub
As you build the relationship with the sub, they will begin to want to more than generic content. They will want to start hearing their name said by the creator, or seeing the creator do specific positions or acts for them.
Emotional engagement
Receiving generic PPV is great to start with. However, the sub will begin to request more specific details and instructions through custom content. By the sub directing the video the sub will automatically be emotionally attached and engaged to the content. Much more than the generic set content. They will also feel much more special that the creator is specifically creating content just for them.
How to handle a custom content request
When a sub requests custom content, it is your job to make sure they are excited and engaged with the content they request.
The request might come in the form of “do you do custom videos? I want you to do XYZ..!”
Now be aware, if this request comes in from a fresh sub without any prior chat, it very often can be a chancer trying to get cheap content. The ideal situation is when a sub that has bought various PPVs in the past and wants something very specific. The reason this is favourable is because you know they are going to have the money to pay and you probably, if the team has taken down good notes over the duration of the relationship, know what the subs preferences are already.
To get the most out of the sub, you need to make sure to ask lots of questions about the custom content.
For example:
How many times shall I say your name? Is there something else you want me to do in the video/ Picture? Should I use my vibrator/ dildo? Should I moan extra loud? Once you have got them to become the DIRECTOR of this content, and have written out every detail, they will be far more emotionally engaged with the content that when they come to pay they will be less likely to quibble on the price.
Guide prices for Custom Content
Refer to the Cheat Sheet section in the module.
Summarise the request
Before you confirm the price, make sure you summarise the request back to the sub. You want to do this to 1) make sure he his happy with the request and you’ve got it right and 2) let him read it ONE MORE time to get more excited about it before taking payment.
Negotiation
Some guys will try to negotiate the price and it’s important that you know how to handle such situations. Btw, you are allowed to negotiate the price but it has to be done in a specific way.
Example:
“baby I want XYZ”
“sureee how do you want it? How long? Etc.... “ (Ask the questions I’ve mentioned before)
“Baby I want it like XYZ and X and YZ”
“Ok sure tip me 300 and I’ll make it for you”
“baby that’s too much”
Now it comes to the important part: You ask him:
“Am I not worth it?” “Of course you are babe but XYZ blabla”
At this stage it is IMPORTANT TO, SAY THIS:
“I find it super unattractive when guys try to negotiate....”
Then here in this part, it could be that the guy buys. If not, then you continue with negotiating.
If you give him a new, cheaper price, make it like this:
“Babe normally I don’t do that but because you’re so nice to me and the other fans are really rude I will make it only for 70 for you”
If the sub pays then great, otherwise move on and make sure to make a note on this sub’s account stating that he couldn’t pay for a custom. This doesn't make him a time waster yet, unless he hasn't paid for anything before, then mark him with a ⌛ (more on labels in the cheat sheet)
Taking payment
Get the sub to tip all or at least half of the price of the request. If he puts up a fight then make sure to get him to tip at least 50% of it now and then you can charge the rest as PPV when its ready.
Final Check
When handling a custom request from a sub, you need to make sure that the following four questions are covered:
Is the sub going to pay over the minimum $100 (in most cases)? Does the creator do the content the sub is asking for? If the sub is asking for anal and the creator does not do anal, if so, we cannot accept the request. Will the sub even pay? We need a downpayment of 50% as a tip. How much detail has the sub provided? Without detail the sub is less likely to feel emotionally involved and attached to the content which means the likelihood of future custom content is decreased. We are always thinking about the next sale!!! Make sure to tell the sub that the custom might take 2-3 days as you want to make sure you do a super good job!
Chatting Psychology Summary
Don't be Robotic
Think, think, think. Talk to the subs as if you would talk to a guy you are getting to know and have feelings for. Please find out about their life and write it down in the notes section. Find out their favourite sports team, their favourite food, if they go to the gym, interesting facts about their life.
Your goal should be to establish long-term regulars through virtual companionship. If you curate the relationship and make them feel special, subscribers will come back and spend a lot more money every month. Don't focus on just the $300 you can make from the subscriber today but think about the thousands you can make over the next 1-2 months from this ONE subscriber.
Much of the relationship building can and is allowed to happen without much or any content, or any tipping or PPV. The one nuance to this is that the subscriber must have already shown previous times that they are (big) spenders. Much of the relationship building can be done when the subscriber is not horny or not in a masturbating mood.
Notes, Notes, Notes
Taking notes is essential for each and every chat, timestamp notes with a date, e.g. “01/11/2021”. This is key so that the team can see what is important to the subscriber and what is not important. It allows for personalisation and for other chatters to curate the relationship. For example, if the AM can read in the notes that the subscriber is a Manchester United football fan, the AM will inform the creator so that the next day they can buy that teams football top and can wear it in a video specifically for him.
Lists and categories
The aim is to be able to categorise a new subscriber within the first interaction. This is important so that we do not send the wrong type of content out to a subscriber. For example, if a new subscriber is a big spender, add the subscriber to that list. If you do not add the subscriber to the list, and a new chatter joins the account and sends a mass DM to “new” subscribers, this could potentially ruin the relationship with the big spender.
Value
A video has no set price, what makes it worth money is the perceived value to the subscriber and how you present the model. As a team, we will make the most money and have the least amount of stress if we brand out models as high-class / high-dollar. It is OK to sell a cheap $15-20 video at first to reel them in, but each initial purchase should escalate in price.
