1. Overview
This Zap identifies replies to outbound sales inquiries in Gmail. When a reply is detected, it locates the associated deal in Attio and updates the deal stage depending on the company size, automatically moving smaller companies to "Replied" and larger ones to "High Potential Follow-up." This enhances lead qualification and prioritization workflows.

3. High-Level Steps
Trigger (Gmail - New Email):
Activates when a new email is detected in the Sent folder. Filter by Zapier:
Continues only if the Subject line contains "Re: Sales Inquiry". Attio – Find Record (Deal):
Searches for a Deal object in Attio using Associated People → Record ID or Email Address from the email to find the matching deal. Filter by Zapier:
Continues only if the Deal Stage is Lead. Paths by Zapier:
Splits the Zap into two conditional paths: Path B: High Potential Follow-up Path A: Replied Stage
Condition:
Proceeds if the Company Size (Option Title) from the Deal record is: Attio – Update Record (Deal):
Updates the Deal Stage to Replied. Path B: High Potential Follow-up
Condition:
Proceeds if the Company Size (Option Title) from the Deal record is: or contains "1000" in text. Attio – Update Record (Deal):
Updates the Deal Stage to High Potential Follow-up.

Automates deal stage updates based on reply activity. Prioritizes higher-value companies for follow-up. Eliminates manual tagging and improves CRM accuracy.
Notes / Considerations
Ensure consistent subject line formatting with "Re: Sales Inquiry" for the filter to work. Make sure Attio’s Associated People attribute reliably links emails to the correct Deal. Consider logging deal stage updates or notifying the sales team via Slack or email for visibility.
