1. Overview

This automation is designed to generate a weekly report of Tally Form submissions and notify the relevant party via Slack. It automates the task of tracking form submissions, thereby freeing up time and ensuring consistent communication.

2. Trigger

App / Event: Schedule by Zapier
Details / Filters:
Scheduled to trigger every Friday at 9 AM.

3. High-Level Steps

Schedule by Zapier: Triggers at the end of each week, every Friday at 5 PM.
Storage by Zapier: Retrieves the count of Tally Form submissions, stored from the related Zap ("Tally Contact Sales -> Add to Zapier Storage").
Slack (Send Direct Message Report): Sends a direct message report about the number of Tally Form submissions made during the week.
Storage by Zapier: Resets the Tally Form submission count back to 0 to prepare for the upcoming week.

4. Output / Results

The weekly submission count report ends up being communicated through Slack as a direct message. The submission count is then reset in Storage by Zapier.

5. Notes / Considerations

This automation relies on accurate timing and configuration of the related Zap ("Tally Contact Sales -> Add to Zapier Storage") for capturing form submissions. Ensure that both Zaps are properly connected and maintained.
