Residency Pipeline

Application Process

Application Submission: Founders fill out an online application form on the Volta website, providing details about their startup idea, progress made so far, team composition, and objectives. This typically takes 15-30 minutes.
Initial Review: The Volta team reviews the applications on a rolling basis as they are submitted. This initial review checks that the basic eligibility criteria are met.
Follow Up Interview: If the application passes the initial criteria, the Volta team will reach out to schedule a 60 minute discussion with the founders. This is a chance to learn more about the startup's vision and plans as well as an opportunity for teams to ask specific questions about Volta.
Final Decision: After the follow up call, the Volta team will make a final decision within 1 week. Applicants are notified by email if they have been accepted into one of the Volta programs.
Onboarding: Once accepted, there is an onboarding process to formally bring the startup into the residency program. But this moves quickly, with the goal to have startups begin working with their Volta growth coach within 2-4 weeks of acceptance.
