Race Against Racism🖤
Race Against Racism was created in memory of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery, a few of the latest heartbreaking examples of injustice and racism experienced by African American men, women, and children every day in the US.
Run or walk anytime between June 3 (Global Running Day) - June 19 (Juneteenth) for George Floyd. During your run or walk, pause for 8 mins and 46 seconds, the length of time that the Minneapolis officer's knee was on George Floyd's neck, causing his death.
Race Against Racism has some wonderful resources on how we, as runners, can be ally’s to the BLM movement and to the black running community.
