Membership Options in ventureLAB

Option 1: Hub Membership

The hub membership program at ventureLAB affords you two 24/7 Access Badges for you and your team. Badge holders can host visitors at any time for on-site meetings. Here’s what you can look forward to with a hub membership:
Access to ventureLAB's 50,000 sqft Innovation Space in the ventureLAB Markham headquarters (See Figure 1 below)
Free, complimentary parking for members and visitors
24/7 access to hot desks in the Innovation Space
Access to meeting/conference rooms in the Innovation Space at a discount (see table below)
A business mailing address and mail room
Many opportunities to engage with the ventureLAB community, including potlocks, demo days, meet & greets with founders, office hours, and many more events
Access to the ventureLAB newsletter which features, among other things, introductions to new ventures and success stories out of ventureLAB
Use of the auditorium (for an affordable rental rate)
24/7 Security
Opportunity to book either Atrium for large events*
Secure 1 Gbps symmetric internet connection

ventureLAB Satellite @ Vaughan Public Library

Additionally, you receive access to the ventureLAB satellite Innovation Space in Vaughan at no extra charge. The room is bookable all week long and is accessible during the Library’s operating hours. To access this space, you will have to book the room on ventureLAB’s space booking system.
Pricing: $150 + HST (+$45 IT Connectivity Fee) /month
*Events must align with ventureLAB’s mission of promoting and advancing hardware and semiconductor ventures in Canada.

Program Clients are entitled to a free hub membership and can upgrade to an enhanced version of the hub membership which entitles them to use of the co-working space as hot desks if they are able to provide proof of insurance.

Option 2: Dedicated Workspace Membership

If your team requires a dedicated space to work in - a space where you can leave equipment or electronics overnight for your staff to return to - this is the right option for you.
The Dedicated Workspace Membership offers you all the same features as the Hub Membership, but also affords you a single desk the atrium (or a shared office at ventureLAB's 50,000 sq. ft. Innovation Space in Markham).
Pricing: $333 + HST (+$45 IT Connectivity Fee) /month

If your team requires additional dedicated desks, the monthly rate per desk is assessed at $300 instead of $333.

Option 3: Office Membership

If your team requires a dedicated, enclosed workspace, ventureLAB has a limited number of offices at affordable rates which are suitable for a variety of team sizes. Membership to those offices affords your team the same benefits outlined in Options 1 and 2 above.
