What are the differences between the DSM and the DTM? Does the DTM show more or less of any given features
-DSM represents all of the elevation values of the Earth’s surface including trees, vehicles, buildings, etc. Meanwhile, DTM only represents the elevation values of the bare Earth’s surface.
Do you note the quality of the DTM or DSM when looking at the flights you engage in over the blue area where you did opposing grid lines, versus the area of the red rectangle?
-we only had the blue square.
What areas of the Orthmosaic had the highest quality? What about areas of poor quality? What could be done to eliminate bad areas or to make future flights better in terms of quality?
-the areas with the highest quality tend to be: areas with good surface elevation, like buildings and vehicles, and center of the flight lines where overlap is consistent.
