Periods ( . )
Periods go inside quotation marks. (If a sentence ends with a quotation, the period is placed inside it.)
They go outside parentheses when the parenthetical is part of a larger sentence, and inside parentheses when the parenthetical stands alone.
✅ Christy said, “I made a video.”
✅ I made a visualizer (and I made an intro, too).
✅ I shared a visualizer and a slideshow. (The visualizer was Nick’s.)
Leave a single space between sentences (after a period).
