RPG Group wanted to bring all group companies together on a single intranet portal to take advantage of the combined strength.
Few of these companies had some individual intranet portals specific to each company. These portals were developed using different technology platforms.
The task was to develop a single unified portal for the entire group that serves as a single source of truth & one-stop-shop solution for 25k + employees
We started by organising a workshop with the stakeholders from each of these group companies to understand the current ecosystem during the discovery phase.
Some personal interviews & focus group sessions helped us understand how different companies from the same group were using the existing platforms specific to their company-level intranet needs
After conducting qualitative & quantitative research we were able to understand important user personas & their specific needs/ pain-points for the first phase
