makers (and counting!) learning to make money on Coda. There are a few things you should do right out of the gate in order to get the most from this community.

The Long-Winded One
Hi there 👋
Welcome to Codex, a community of makers who are building businesses on Coda.
It’s my hope that this community will serve as a bridge between two worlds that I deeply love — the world of Coda and the no-code maker community that has been such a source of optimism for me during the Pandemic of 2020-21.
I started using Coda to organize my own processes and workflows for the software startup I was (and
) building, which is focused on helping chefs and bartenders make money online. However, I quickly became impressed by how intuitive, powerful and, frankly, fun it was to build things on Coda. I started to wonder if it would be possible to monetize my efforts.
To answer this question, I set to work building my first tiny product on Coda — a template that helps people organize their public relations efforts. I used
@Stripe Payment Links
and Coda’s own powerful API to sell copies and even built a tiny referral system using

That project was so well received that I began to think bigger. I’d long been dissatisfied with the existing options for small-scale community builders.
and similar platforms were expensive and inflexible. What I needed was a light-weight, cost-effective solution that would allow me to validate my ideas quickly without breaking the bank or sacrificing important features.
What if I could build such a solution using Coda? Turns out I could. 🤯
The resulting product is called “Strapbook,” and I used it to build this community. Soon, I’ll be making this framework available to others, so that you can build your own online community more easily than ever before. If you want to read more about that — and get notified when we launch — follow the project below.

I hope you enjoy learning your way around the community, and that it inspires you to begin your own journey making money online. If you have any questions, drop me a line. I’m always happy to lend a hand. ‘Til then, be well and ...
Happy building! 🍻
