ELECTRONICS REMINDER 📱🕹️

One of the great benefits of heading out on any of our trips is that we’re able to unplug from our digital world for a few days. Electronics are allowed while traveling to our destinations, but we have a longstanding rule that Scouts are not allowed to use electronics while on our trips (i.e. if brought they’ll be left in vehicles and not used during the trip).

ITINERARY

We’ll meet at and leave from the Publix on S Royal Oaks in Franklin (, ).
This is an intermediate 1 night trip to Big South Fork. We’ll head up Saturday morning and spend the day backpacking to a backcountry site. Sunday we’ll hike back out and head back home.
There is a max of 12 people on this trip - registration will initially open for 7 Scouts and 3 adults, with the last 2 slots being allocated as needed.
There are no formally designated campsites in Big South Fork backcountry - you’re able to camp (almost) anywhere. We’ll hike a route that has several known previously established campsites and pick one that’s available when we arrive.
