Corporate worship is a weekly reminder of God's holiness and mankind's sinfulness. That stark difference is what drives us to behold God's incredible glory and give him the praise that He alone is due. Scripture encourages us to confess our sin to one another and to the Father Himself. Once we acknowledge and remember the vileness of our sin we can more fully appreciate the magnificence of the undeserved grace that's been showered on us in Christ! (James 5:1, 1 John 1:9)
