Spoofing Into Participant

From time to time, you may have the need to log into the ERC as one of the sponsor’s participants. Some reasons you may do this:
Sponsor is saying they aren’t seeing what they should be in their ERC, you can spoof in to verify what they are seeing.
Sponsor emails something to us that should be done by completing an ERC task instead, so you spoof into the ERC as them and complete the task on their behalf.
There are other reasons to spoof, testing is another big one, but these are the most common.

How to Spoof into a Exhibitor Participant
Navigate to the Exhibitor Record. Under Contacts (either on dashboard or the tab itself), click the profile icon for the participant you want to spoof into

Clicking that icon will open a new RainFocus admin tab loading that attendee’s record. On this page, click on the “Spoof” icon at the top right. Type in ERC and you will see a workflow called “exh: Exhibitor Resource Center (ERC)”. Do not click the one that says OLD.

At this point you will land on the ERC workflow as that participant. The system will automatically open a new tab. Important Note: The intro section of the ERC home page shows the name of the person who is logged in. Please as you are working in ERCs check to make sure that is the correct name. The cookies that store for SSO logins are very...sticky....so sometimes you may think you’re logged in as someone but you’re actually viewing as another person. It’s to a point where sometimes I’ll just go spoof into myself from RainFocus admin instead of trying to log in myself.
