Idea

Popl for Crypto

What is it ?

POPL is a digital business card in the web to space that allows you to share all of your different contact information from various channels with touch technology and QR codes.

We imagine that crypto-bros would open up their phone... and then their wallet. Our idea is to airdrop interesting people our contact card for them to share and join the underdogprotocol ntwrk1 wl.

Who is it for ?

anybody we talk to who is interested in social tokens or collecting nfts

partners - dao’s,communities, clubs, etc.

potential talent + creators to bring on ntwrk0

How does it work to receive one?

I imagine an NFT like the uNFT that has our contact info instead of our twittter bio or all of our contact information lives in the description of the NFT/NTT. This is a version below:

Tony and/or Kevin are meeting with somebody IRL at and event or 1:1.

Conversation ends

acknowledge conversation ends and ask eachother for contact info, “do you have a phantom wallet?”

If yea, what’s your public key? Airdrop (send + cover fee )them our contact card. “You can find my info there, share it if you thought it was cool and tag us”

If no, reply, that’s no problem. We’ve made a couple wallets where you can claim the NFT and then claim the wallet as yours.

Send wallet claim link via text link to phone... should take them to download phantom wallet, import seed phrase, and claim.

Why are we building it ?

We believe that this will allow us to have a viral effect when we meet people at events. It will generate brand awareness, hype, and virality that may lead to PUP/partnership acquisition. Additionally, as our vision to build a decentralized professional network, these contact cards serve as the ‘connections’ for the individuals who receive the airdrop when they join the network. POAP for meeting IRL.

How do we plan to stay engaged with individuals who received this airdrop?

Directly after interaction

Tell them more about the idea, ‘contacts/connections card of mine you can add to your underdog profile in the season you join, the card also acts as a whitelist for you to join’ (decide yourself if they are ntwrk0 or ntwrk1 worthy)

Make sure that they follow you on twitter or you’re able to message them on their preferred messaging app like telegram or phone, they should text you with their email and name!

If we don’t get that level of information ie: they follow us + their phone , what’s the POC?

Direct them to our sign-up page so they can do our normal process

Following-Up

I am happy to handle intros emails and first follow ups to reaching out to 100-200 people until I can start to put follow-up templates and flows into production with superhuman.

I’d imagine these people would be filtered into our newsletter where we would be breaking down our series and updating the community on our progresses and needs as a protocol
