Founded in 1985 - oldest solar panel manufacturer
An American brand manufactures both in China and Mexico.
Their technology, Maxeon Solar Cells, is used by NASA in space. They are the world's most durable and expensive solar panels and technology.
They have two models of panels:
Their Performance Series, or P Series, which are the same technology as most Chinese panels and are also manufactured in China.
Their Maxeon Series which is manufactured in Mexico, just south of the US border, and is completely different technology where the whole panel is backed by a copper sheet, essentially rendering their solar cells as “unbreakable” since they won’t crack under pressure, they will simply bend.
