Work Items

Hey Emily! Below are the work items we’ve collected. I will keep this list updated as we continue to move in. I’ve included both “normal repairs” as well as a section about some potential projects we could collaborate on to increase the value of your property and increase my enjoyment of the space.

As I mentioned during move in I’d love to stay in this space for a few years and would be keen to make some improvements to it that would be beneficial to both of us. For example, I’m going to need to shore up the back fence for my dog. I can do that in a temporary manner I can take down before moving out, or we could find a way to split the cost and get a more permanent solution added that increases the value of the backyard space for future tenants.

Similarly, I’d love to setup a hard surface patio area. I can purchase interlocking and removable patio tiles that I can take with me afterwards or we can contract some folks for a more permanent solution for a shared cost that’ll last. To that end I’d be more than happy to research options, price them out, and oversee the work.

To give some additional context we’re already taking some steps that are improving the overall quality of the house. The entire inside of the house is being professionally cleaned and repainted, including removing the accumulated grime from the kitchens, as well as a deep clean and resurfacing of the kitchen countertop. I’m happy to invest some money I won’t see a return on on improving the place, but I would love to collaborate farther on some bigger projects.

Same as above. I don’t mind doing the buy used, re-sell on move out shuffle but would prefer not to if we could work together.
