User-Generated Content (UGC) Creators Guidelines: Visual Hooks Creation for LetzDM.com

UGC is a new initiative for our product - Letzdm.com. This is the most requested feature from our existing customers to get strong visual hooks from creators which can help them scale Influencer Marketing & video content creation on TikTok

Objective

We are seeking talented UGC creators for our product - to produce 25 unique, high-quality visual hooks of intro & outro. Each unique video consists of a pair of clips: one intro clip and one outro clip, submitted as separate files but counted together as a single entry.These short, engaging clips (lasting 4 to 5 seconds) will showcase various gestures in different outfits and settings. Each video should include enough empty space at the top or bottom for text overlay.

1. Introduction to Content Creation

We are looking for creators who can produce creative and engaging short clips for social media platforms. These videos will help showcase specific gestures that clients can use in their own content. Your videos will become part of a visual hook collection, used across multiple UGC campaigns.

Content Specifications

Clip Duration: 4 to 5 seconds
Aspect Ratio: Vertical (9:16)
Resolution: 1080x1920 pixels
File Format: MP4 or MOV
Audio: Videos should be silent or have neutral background sounds (no music unless specified)
Lighting & Composition: Good lighting, clear visibility, and steady camera work
Text Overlay Space: Ensure empty space at the top or bottom for text placement
Outfits & Locations: No more than 5 clips should have the same outfit and location
Submission Process: Submit one paired sample video (intro + outro) first for review before proceeding with the full set.

2. Gestures Guidelines

Each submission should consist of one distinct introduction and outro gesture pair in the same setting and outfit. Below is the breakdown of the required gestures:

A. Introduction Gestures Examples:
These are simple, friendly, and approachable gestures meant to create an introduction or catch attention in a video.
Waving: A simple hand wave to greet or acknowledge.
Thumbs Up: Showing approval with one raised thumb.
Thumbs Down: Showing disapproval with one raised thumb pointing downward.
Pointing at Something: Pointing with one finger to draw attention to something specific.
Double Thumbs Up: Both thumbs raised in approval.
Finger Snap: A quick snap of your fingers to show excitement or emphasis.
Head Nod: A quick nod of approval or agreement.
Finger to Lips (Shush): A gesture to signal quiet or secrecy.
Clapping Hands: Light clapping as a sign of applause or acknowledgment.
Peace Sign: Making the ‘V’ shape with two fingers, signaling peace or greeting.
Blowing a Kiss: A playful gesture where you blow a kiss to the camera.
Looking Around: A casual gesture of looking side to side, and then looking upwards or downwards where we should be able to place the text.
Wave Goodbye: A quick wave goodbye to signify departure.
Air Wave: Waving your hands in the air, perhaps to emphasize excitement.
Pointing Upwards: Pointing to the sky, as if directing attention to something above.
Hands on Face: Gently cupping your hands around your face (signifying surprise or awe).
One Finger Up: Raising a single finger as if signaling an idea or thought.
Shoulder Shrug: A casual shrug of the shoulders, indicating uncertainty.
Gesturing to Come Closer: Making a motion with your fingers to call someone to bring someone closer.
Nodding to the Camera: Nodding as a form of acknowledgment or greeting.
Hand on Heart: A heartfelt gesture, showing sincerity or appreciation and then pointing finger on top or bottom.
Making a Heart with Hands: Creating a heart shape with your fingers and hands.

B. Outro Gesture Examples

These gestures are typically used to emphasize a message, action, or reaction. They can be used for engagement and are often seen in dynamic, active moments.
Jumping with Excitement: A quick, energetic jump to express excitement or joy.
Shaking Head (No): A back-and-forth head motion indicating “no” or disapproval.
Pointing Forward: Pointing directly ahead, as if directing attention to something in the distance.
Crossed Arms: Arms crossed, showing confidence or contemplation.
Twirling Hair: Playfully twirling a strand of hair.
Chair: Walking into the frame and sitting on a work chair with good background aesthetics.
Walking Towards Camera: Approaching the camera in a steady walk, perhaps with a wave or smile.
Spreading Arms: Opening arms wide to indicate a welcoming or embracing gesture.
Covering Eyes (Surprise): Using hands to cover your eyes, as if surprised.
Hand Over Mouth (Shock): Placing a hand over the mouth as if in surprise or shock.
Facepalm: A playful or exaggerated gesture where you smack your palm to your face.
Fist Pump: A quick, triumphant fist pump, often in celebration.
Poking Out Tongue: A playful or cheeky gesture of sticking your tongue out.
Hands Raised in Victory: Both hands raised above your head in a victory gesture.
Thumb and Forefinger Circle: Making the “OK” or "excellent" sign with your thumb and forefinger.
Pointing Down: Pointing down towards something on the floor or a specific spot.
Bowing Head (Respect): A gentle bow of the head to show respect or acknowledgment.
Blowing a Bubble: Blowing a bubble with gum, popping it playfully.
Hands to Face (Exclamation): Exclaiming surprise by placing both hands on your face.
Flicking Fingers: Flicking your fingers in the air, perhaps to get attention.
Double Finger Gun: Mimicking shooting with your fingers, often in a playful or humorous way.
Swaying Side to Side: A slight side-to-side sway of the body, usually for a relaxed or dance-like vibe.

3. Rights and Usage Clause

By submitting the videos, you grant us full ownership and rights to use them for:
UGC marketing campaigns
Social media, website, and advertisements
Editing, modifying, and distribution across platforms

4. Submission Process

Submit One Video First: Creators must submit a single sample video for review before proceeding with the full batch.
Capture the Videos: Follow the outlined guidelines.
Label Files Properly: Format – YourName_Gesture_01.mp4, YourName_Gesture_02.mp4, etc.
Upload Videos: Submit all videos in one folder via [Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer] and grant access.
Final Review: We will review your videos and confirm payment upon approval.
If your submission is not accepted, we will not use the videos. Only approved content will be used for our campaigns.

5. Compensation and Payment Details

Amount: To be discussed once you submit your sample video and also any existing portfolio or social channel
Payment Method: PayPal or Stripe link.
Processing Time: Within 7 business days of final approval.

6. Filtering Process

To ensure high-quality submissions, we will pre-screen creators before assigning tasks. Interested creators must first provide:
A portfolio or past UGC examples showcasing similar work
A sample video following the guidelines
A short introduction about their experience in content creation - Only selected creators will be invited to complete the full task, minimizing rejections after effort is invested.
