Job Description

As an Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the smooth functioning of the cafe. Your responsibilities will include staff supervision, customer service, inventory management, and maintaining a positive work environment for ex-offenders. You will also be involved in training and mentoring employees, facilitating skill development programs, and promoting a culture of inclusivity and support.

Job Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily operations to meet customer service standards
Manage and motivate a diverse team of employees, including ex-offenders
Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating staff members
Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
Collaborate with the management team to achieve business goals and social impact objectives
Provide guidance and support to employees in overcoming challenges and developing new skills
Foster a positive work environment that promotes personal growth and teamwork

Open and close the cafe, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time
